Free Rentals on Monday from redbox
I saw on Hacking Netflix (an excellent TypePad blog) that every Monday in October (ignore that it says September) redbox will send you a free rental code if you sign up for their SMS network.
There's a McDonald's about five minutes from my house, so I went and picked one up and used the code they sent me. I got a free DVD in just a few minutes, so if there's one near you, you might want to take advantage of the offer too.
