Vox Hunt: An Interesting Life
Book: Show us a great biography or memoir.
I read Broken Music right before going to Europe last year and I found it totally fascinating. I always wonder what it's like to be someone who wasn't born to a rich or famous family - someone like Sting or Oprah, just to name a few examples - and become someone that everyone recognizes (as a matter of fact, I was thinking about this in the car today on my way home). It's got to be the most strange, surreal experience ever.
The book really only goes up to right when The Police are starting to break out, but it's a wonderful peak into the life of someone that will soon make it big.
Plus, Sting, being a songwriter, has an amazing command of language and I really just couldn't put it down. It's a pretty quick read, but I highly recommend it.
